About Hagar Fadel
Philosophy of care
I treat each patient holistically by identifying their unique attributes as well as the risk factors contributing to their health care needs. I apply my skills, knowledge and passion to provide the best experience to patients and their families during every encounter. I advocate for each patient and support them throughout each step of their health care journey. Why I entered medicine
Growing up bilingual, I accompanied my family to doctor visits and discovered a passion for caring for others. I appreciate the problem-solving nature of medicine and the relationships that develop between a patient and clinician. I expect my diverse background will allow me to relate to my patients on a deeper level than textbooks alone. In this evolving field, I am eager to continue learning and staying up to date with the latest literature.Community involvement
I treated the homeless population in my neighborhood with a street medicine team during my clinical year. I also volunteered at a free clinic serving the men sheltering at the Allentown Rescue Mission. I am an active member of my mosque and volunteer in community events.Personal interests
Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling with my friends and indulging in new cultures and cuisines. Family is very important to me, and I appreciate our time together sharing a meal or reflecting on childhood memories.Education
