About Margaret Brown
Philosophy of care
My philosophy involves holistic care: understanding patients’ physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual dimensions. It also consists of the patient and their family. Since the parents spend the most time with their child, listening to the parent is significant in pediatric care. Why I entered medicine
My parents had chronic health issues because of obesity, and I spent a significant amount of time taking care of them, which involved doctor and hospital visits. I really admired the nurses and doctors, and that played a big part in my decision to become a nurse. Later I added a master's in nursing degree.Personal interests
My family is my priority. I also enjoy running, biking and swimming. I like to challenge myself by competing in running races and triathlons.Education
