For me, the greatest goal for success is the appreciation and gratitude from the patients. Really knowing your work, your patients and then providing quality care are what I seek.Why I entered medicine
Being a part of a family of doctors, interest in medicine came naturally to me. Growing up seeing my parents constantly treating patients and being appreciated for the hard work they put in every day instilled in me the desire to explore the field and my interests in the various possibilities within the branch. Interest and passion in dentistry came from my own experience with our family dentist as a teenager, and there was no looking back since then.Community involvement
I volunteered as a research assistant in India to provide health education in rural areas. In the U.S., I helped with a large community oral health program conducted by the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in Los Angeles. Education
